Quincy is Our Hometown
Quincy is a city rich in history. It is home to two Presidents, John Adams, the second President of The United States, and his son John Quincy Adams who was the sixth President. This is why Quincy is referred to as the City of Presidents. Quincy was settled in 1625 and seperated from Braintree in 1792. It was incorporated as a city in 1888 and was named after Colonel John Quincy. Quincy is located just south of Boston and has 27 miles of shoreline with beaches and marinas. Quincy is a family oriented city with many baseball, football and soccer fields throughout the city, plus basketball and tennis courts and skateboard parks.
